Please join the ABC 5 News and Public Affairs Department in our no frills, simple BUT sincere election coverage. You may say that our presentation is “barebones”, but we promise to get to the “bone marrow” of the issues. Simple, walang ingay pero laging may sustansya.
Cheri Mercado, Martin Andanar, Amelyn Veloso, Ed Lingao, Patrick Paez, Jade Lopez, and Jim Libiran will man our studios and present reports as they come in.
Jove Francisco, She Torres, Arlene Lim Farol, Teresa Andrada, Naomi Dayrit, Geann Pineda, Faye Tobias, Jason Torres, Erel Cabatbat, Winnie Garcia, Fiona Rozario, our cameramen and our assistant cameramen will be in strategic areas covering developments in the field.
The hardworking people inside the newsroom (news desk, news production, editorial team and the engineering teams) will serve as the backbone of the coverage.
Even Ariel and Maverick will have a big part in the coverage.
